Meeting Minutes 1/17/09

January 17th, 2009 - Annual Meeting was called to order at 10:05am at the Curve Inn by Club President Roger Steinbach

Welcome And Introduction

Agenda  addition - none was made

Treasurer’s Report was given by Kathy - Bruce Tilkens' motion to except, seconded By Lloyd Wieland

New Business
   Incorporating the club the reason for it

   Club bylaws presented - passed by a unanimous club vote

   The year will run Jan 1 to Dec 31 - Motion made to except by Sue Tilkens', seconded by Sharon Pecha

   Talked about if fundraisers are necessary - Do not see a need at this time.

   Talk about covering expenses for people that do things for the club or on the trail - Bruce and Jerry will get in touch with John from Iron Snowshoes to
   find out the right way of putting it so we are covered under Iron Snowshoes  Insurance when we do work on the trail

   WATVA meeting April 3-4-5- in Wausau - Roger and Kathy will be going again this year - Jerry Thirion made a motion to pay for one night motel,
   second by Jim Pecha

   Roger and Jim attended and discussed the town of Stephenson meeting

   Jim Pecha is going to handle the clothing and hats. Pay up front for merchandise ... he is getting a few things and a book to look at hopefully by next meeting

   Next meeting will be at April 18 2009 10:00 Thunder Mountain Valley Inn (Harri & Mabl's)

   Adopt a Road clean up on W after the meeting if weather permitting (snow gone?)
