Meeting Minutes from 3/18/06

The March 18th meeting was called to order at 9AM at the Wheel Inn Bar.

WELCOME back to all of our members and a special welcome to all new members.

Goals were discussed by the Board in February. We want to keep up the progress we made last year but concentrate more on fun & less on fundraising.

Trail Expansion was discussed. Both the Crooked Lake ATV Club and the Iron Snowshoe Club are making progress on securing areas for expansion.

Cleanup Day is Saturday April 8th @ 9AM at the Crossroads Bar. Jerry will direct the crews. We will repair fences and cut limbs on the trail as well as pickup trash on the trail and our Adopt-a-Highway portion of Cty W. Signs will be updated as needed. Safety vests and trash bags will be provided. After the cleanup there will be a lunch at the Wheel Inn for workers.
Rain/Snow Date - if needed will be posted on the club’s website by April 5th.
Peshtigo Times and WATVA Trail Tails will be sent an article and pictures about our cleanup day. We will also submit a picture and article written by Lloyd about our wood chip spreader.

A Sponsor Page will be added to our website and will include our business sponsors.

Annual Fundraiser will coordinate with the Wheel Inn Pig Roast on Sunday May 28th. Club members will assist with setup, food sales and cleanup. Lee will get profits from the food & beverage sales. The club will have raffles the majority of which will be 50/50's. Tony is chair of the raffles and Lloyd will again be our announcer.
Rocker Band will perform.

A Free Decal will be given to new members. Extra decals can be purchased from Jim.

Gift Certificates and Thank You Letters will be sent to land owners again this year.

Woodland Trails Website has been redesigned and includes pictures from our events.

Safety Day will be set up by Carl this summer.

Parades...the club will participate in the Crivitz 4th of July Parade and Coleman Fireman’s Picnic Parade. Mike & Roger will be in charge but will need lots of help.

Club Rides...many members had ideas for rides and are invited to organize a ride and bring the specifics to the meetings.

NEXT MEETING
Is Saturday April 29th @ 9AM at the Crossroads Bar. Our main focus will be the May 28th event and organizing club rides.
