Meeting Minutes from 4/16/05
The April meeting at the Crossroads Bar was called to order by vice president, Carl Christensen. Minutes were recorded by Connie Thirion.
MINUTES from March were passed.
TREASURER’S REPORT was passed.
OLD BUSINESS
Shirts, hats and decals are now available. Contact Jim Pecha.
Trail maintenance - Volunteers welcome - meet Shane at the Crossroads next Saturday 4/23 @ 9AM to work.
Club wooden signs are done & distributed to the three businesses. Thanks Lloyd!
Club raffle is on hold until further notice.
Jerry & Carl will schedule some club rides.
Door prize donated by Terry Schmelzle. Bluebird house & feeder won by Jerry Thirion.
Curve Inn Mud Pull - tentative date 9/24. Glenn needs volunteer for announcer, vehicle director and more. Suggested free admission and $10.00 entrance fee ($5.00 to club). Food sales to club and beverage sales to Curve Inn. Glenn has 20x20 tent. Will check into insurance & make decision by next meeting.
Ads in ATV journals? Ad was submitted to WATVA journal for Spring edition.
NEW BUSINESS
Event Leader for 6/11 event at Corner Convenience is Tony Cyr & Mike. Volunteers needed for set up, workday & cleanup. Contact Tony @ 920-457-6187. Tom Armstrong in charge of Sound System. Light Foot available - dollar numbers not ready yet. Safety patrol scheduled by Carl & will have coloring books for the kids.
Safety vests & light donated. Gary donated a trauma kit. Will check with Terry if spot available for kit & vest with clipboard to check in & out.
Training patrol guidelines - Carl gave some instructions on do’s & don’t’s. May do seminar on safety patrol guidelines and safety training for trauma bag.
Carl going to DNR Instruction @ Mosinee.
Website - things going on people are not finding.
Lee has “Pepsi” banners - need to put up by trail opening date.
August 20th - Cystic Fibrosis fund raiser @ Crossroads from 12 to 10. Set up booth with volunteers as a community service.
Parade in Crivitz July 4th. Will discuss next meeting. Need event leader.
May 28th - Club promotion booth at the annual Wheel Inn Pig Roast.
NEXT MEETING....will be May 21th @ 9AM at the Wheel Inn.
