OLD BUSINESS
Trail Controversy
Landowners were sent thank you letter, gift certificate and lifetime membership to the club.
Tarps were put up Friday on parts of the trail to cut down on noise. Wood chips will be spread on trail after today’s meeting.
Club Ride July 16th - meet at Park & Ride on Cty W and Bushman Road at 8:30am for short meeting then ride. Will stop to eat in Lakewood. Contact Jerry or Carl for further information. Anyone not interested in the club ride - please remember to support Coleman Fireman’s Picnic that day.
July 4th Parade - Work will begin on float starting Saturday 6/5 and the following week. Please contact Mike @ 715-757-2838 if you can help
Cystic Fibrosis Fund Raiser 8/20 at the Crossroads Bar from noon til 8PM. Club community service - volunteers are needed for Friday set-up and Sunday clean-up. Also volunteers needed to work that day for a 2 hour shift. Please sign-up at the Crossroads.
1st Annual Membership Drive/Fund Raiser held 6/11 - Tony & Terry reported the event was a success with a good profit to the club. Ideas for next year included moving date to July and moving event to Cty W side of corner. Was extra insurance needed? Tony will draft a thank you letter to all who donated raffle items and Terry will mail them.
Mud Pull - Glen can get insurance for approx. $500. Lee is checking out insurance also.
NEW BUSINESS
End of year meeting/party - October at the Crossroads Bar. Food will be provided by Tom & Carol and paid for by the club. Members can buy their drinks at the bar and are encouraged to bring a dessert if they would like. Will need RSVPs. Complete information will be in July newsletter.
NO meetings Nov, Dec, Jan - but plenty to do in down time. Will need set schedule of events for next year at last meeting in October so we can get to publications.
Possible Poker Run in September - Carl & Jerry will work on this.
Crooked Lake has formed an ATV Club.
Can we get can coolers & bandanas for the club to sell?
Trail Patrol - Please go in pairs and wear proper riding gear i.e. shirt, safety vest, proper shoes and helmet.
DNR Safety Class - now a requirement for kid’s ages 11 to 16 to ride. Class is 6 hours in length. Contact Carl if interested.
Door prize - a cooler donated by Terry was won by Mike H.
MEETING ADJOURNED at 10:15 AM - members then met to do trail maintenance.
