Meeting Minutes 9/16/07

The September 16th meeting was called to order at 9AM at the Wheel Inn Bar.

Treasurer's Report: A 2006 year-to-date financial summary was presented at the meeting. 

Letters were sent on August 16th via email to current members who gave us their e-mail address and by mail to all other current members thanking all who helped out with the 4th of July Parade and the 3rd Annual Marissa's Duck Race for Cystic Fibrosis. Also, the letter was a reminder of the Fall Elections happening at today's meeting.

Membership Update! We have 87 family or single memberships for 2006-07 ... 56 are renewals and 31 are new memberships.

Missing Trail Signs continues to be a problem especially where Dusty Trails and Woodland Trails meet. Also, the DNR requests we put up more speed limit signs on the trail.

Trail Ride Coordinator is Roger Steinbeck. He has agreed to coordinate rides so if you have any ideas (big or small) for a ride please contact him via email (rokalj@cs.com). He would like to set up a winter ride.

Marinette County Maps for 2006 which include our trail are now available at some of the businesses and realty companies in the county. You can also go to their web page (www.marinettecounty.com) or call 715-732-7530.  We will continue to provide our small map to the three businesses on the trail.

Club Donations.  Members at the meeting suggested we make a club donation to the Twin Bridge Rescue Squad and the Marinette County Shop with a Cop program. All present were in favor.

Hats & Shirts will be ordered for next spring.  Please contact Jim or Bruce if you have specific wants or needs as we can not maintain a large inventory.

Club Meetings next year will again alternate between Crossroads and Wheel Inn. A schedule will be available after the first of the year.

A Chili Dump & ATV Ride were suggested for the end of next season. Postcards will be sent to all members with the date, place & time.
